Time to prepare for World Oral Health Day, download the resources, submit an event. fdiworlddental.org: New World Oral Health Day (WOHD) resources are available online to help people get organized for 20 March. The theme of this year’s campaign ‘Say Ahh: Think Mouth, Think Health’ is introduced in the WOHD toolkit. It includes key messages and ideas to help implement the campaign locally and can be downloaded – like all materials – in English, French and Spanish. Read more

Sodium Reduction in Processed Foods in Canada: An Evaluation of Progress toward Voluntary Targets from 2012 to 2016. healthcanada.ca: About 80% of Canadians consume more than 2300 milligrams of sodium each day. The rates of high sodium intakes for children and youth are even higher. Among kids aged 4 to 8 years, the rate of excess intake is 93% and among teenaged boys, it is 97%.
