Dr. Larry Levin on CDA’s Days on Hill

Each year, a CDA delegation led by the CDA President, participates in the CDA Days on the Hill event. This year was no different. Accompanied by several dentists from across Canada, Dr. Larry Levin met with members of parliament and cabinet ministers to discuss important matters related to dentistry. 

The meetings agenda included: 

• Sugar reduction: changing labelling and marketing to kids
• Health Benefits taxation: thank the government for not proceeding with a tax on employer-provided health benefits
• Access to Care for persons with disabilities: ask the government to take leadership position for targeted funding for provincial dental programs for people with disabilities
• Small Business taxation issues
