Practical How To: Kuraray’s PANAVIA V5

Practitioners have always faced the challenges associated with choosing a cement which offers both durability and esthetics. PANAVIA V5, the 5th version of cement in the PANAVIA family, is a true dual-cure, fluoride-releasing, color-stable, esthetic, universal resin cement with simplified placement. An adhesive milestone has been achieved by providing self-cure dentin bond strengths equal to a “Gold Standard” light-cure bonding agent, CLEARFIL SE Bond. No resin cement has been able to provide this level of adhesion until now.
Multiple research studies have indicated that many dual-cure resin cements require light-curing to provide acceptable bond strengths. The PANAVIA V5 Tooth Primer (MDP-based) with new catalysts solves this challenge and provides high bond strengths for all tooth structures in the self-cure mode.
CLEARFIL CERAMIC PRIMER PLUS contains the original MDP adhesive monomer and y-MPS silane monomer, which bonds to all silica-based ceramics (including lithium disilicate), zirconia, composites and metals.
PANAVIA V5 is available in 5-amine free, color-stable shades with virtually no post-cure color change. Available in Automix delivery, the cement offers a one-bottle Tooth Primer which eliminates mixing, and a single-bottle CERAMIC PRIMER PLUS for all indirect pretreatment of restorations. One simple and esthetic cement for all your needs!
