CDA @ Work: CDA meets with the Association of Canadian Faculties of Dentistry (ACFD)

ACFD EditedThe Canadian Dental Association (CDA) and the Association of Canadian Faculties of Dentistry (ACFD) held one of its regular meetings on February 9 in Ottawa at the CDA head office. 

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss issues of common interest.  Among the key topics discussed were:  advocacy for federal research support and training of future scientists and teachers; Oasis; the JCDA scholarly edition;  issues related to patients with special needs and practice management curriculum. 

In attendance at the meeting were (left to right in the photograph): CDA’s Director of Clinical and Scientific Affairs, Dr. Benoit Soucy, the CDA President, Dr. Gary MacDonald, the ACFD President, Dr. Dan Haas, the CDA President-Elect, Dr. Alastair Nicoll, and the ACFD Executive Director, Dr. Ed Yen.
