I have been proceeding to remove the 38 horizontal positioned and after removal, I noticed the movement of mandible and malocclusion of the teeth. In x-ray, separation of lower part of mandible in ramos area was obvious, so I immediately closed the wound with suture and repositioned the teeth arrangement. Then, for inter maxillary fixation, I used wire and composite and I advised the patient to follow a soft diet and to return to my clinic after 3 days for check up. Ice pack for 1 day and warm compress after 48 hours
Have I done it right? Will that be ok?
